Pennette panna e prosciutto (ham and  cream)

Ingredients for 4 people:
350g of pennette,
100g of Parma ham in a single slice,
50g of lard,
50g of butter,,
50g of cream,
salt and black pepper

Preparation time: 5 minuti

Cut ham and lard in little strips, then put them in a warmed soup-toureen with the butter. Meanwhile cook the pennette,  strain off the water but not too much and then put the pasta in the soup-toureen and stir well. Add cream, salt and black pepper and stir once more. Serve after some minutes so as to give time to the lard  to soften.

Prosecco, full-meal reds
